Acceptance and authorized use
By using CoachHQ, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. You must be legally able to enter this agreement and authorized to act for any team or organization whose information you manage. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter and for obtaining any permissions required for player or participant information.
CoachHQ accounts
CoachHQ apps other than CoachHQ Tryouts require a Cognito-authenticated CoachHQ account. CoachHQ Tryouts is the limited exception: a registrar may purchase and use the local tryout workflow without signing in, and authorized evaluators may join that registrar's local session by code. Creating or accessing a CoachHQ Team always requires CoachHQ sign-in.
CoachHQ Tryouts subscriptions
CoachHQ Tryouts offers monthly and yearly auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple. Both plans unlock the same registrar features; only the billing period differs. Prices are shown before purchase in your App Store storefront. Eligible customers may be offered a seven-day introductory trial, as determined and administered by Apple.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- A subscription or trial renews automatically unless canceled under Apple's applicable cancellation rules.
- You can manage or cancel through Apple's subscription settings. Canceling renewal does not end an already-paid term early.
- Restore Purchases checks Apple for eligible access; it does not restore deleted local data.
- Refund requests are handled by Apple through Report a Problem.
Only the registrar who creates and hosts a tryout needs a subscription. Evaluators may join an authorized registrar's local session using its code without purchasing a separate subscription or creating a CoachHQ account. This Tryouts evaluator exception does not provide access to other CoachHQ apps or authenticated CoachHQ Team features.
Expiration and read-only access
Apple may provide up to a 16-day billing grace period for renewal failures when available. After subscription access and any Apple-authorized grace period end, CoachHQ Tryouts becomes read-only. You may view, export, or delete existing information, but cannot create or change tryouts, record new evaluations or videos, accept evaluator submissions, or synchronize new changes until access is restored.
Your content and CoachHQ Teams
You retain ownership of information you enter. You grant RMJ Technologies LLC the limited rights needed to process that information and provide the features you request. Tryouts evaluations and media are stored locally unless a feature clearly states otherwise. Adding a selected player to an authenticated CoachHQ Team places the applicable Team information in CoachHQ cloud storage and makes it available according to Team permissions.
You are responsible for your device, local backups, Team access, session codes, and authorized use by your staff. Do not use CoachHQ to violate law, privacy rights, intellectual-property rights, league rules, or organizational policies; interfere with the service; attempt unauthorized access; or distribute harmful material.
Availability, changes, and termination
We work to maintain and improve CoachHQ, but features may change and uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. Local Tryouts operation is designed not to require the cloud during an event, while App Store transactions and authenticated Team features depend on third-party services and connectivity. We may suspend access for misuse, legal requirements, security risk, or material violation of these terms.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, CoachHQ is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties not expressly stated here. Coaching, roster, evaluation, safety, eligibility, medical, and selection decisions remain the responsibility of the user and organization. To the extent permitted by law, RMJ Technologies LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, or opportunity arising from use of CoachHQ.
Apple terms and contact
Apps obtained through the App Store are also subject to Apple's applicable terms, including the Apple Standard EULA when applicable. If these terms conflict with non-waivable law, that law controls.
